How to help them if they have any problems
If your son/ daughter has a problem which is not related to their academic work, there will be plenty of people at their university or college who can offer help. Some departments allocate tutors or supervisors who are responsible for pastoral care and all the York institutions offer free counselling with trained counsellors.
